Unacceptable

23 Mar

This is bullshit. Fans attacked Bale’s and Jese’s cars when the players returned home last night. They also screamed abuse. I can’t believe Sergio even entertained their bullshit (I know, he was trying to smooth the waters, but give these people an inch and they’ll take a mile).

Time for a Lozil rant. Batten down the hatches.

Grown ass men went to the training ground in the middle of the fucking night to castigate our players over their 2-1 Clasico lost. Adult. Men. GET A FUCKING GRIP, PEOPLE! You obviously need anger management and another hobby besides stalking (ooops, I mean, being a “fan”). I see one of you is wearing a wedding ring. Might you not want to be home with your wife? Does she approve of your late night escapades? I’ve gotta say if I had a man who left my bed in the middle of the night to yell at professional athletes and bang on their cars, I’d probably kick his ass to the curb for being a complete and utter moron. JFC.

How is it that security did not remove these jerks? Or at the very least keep them away from the players’ cars? They really need to step up their security measures. Having “fans”, especially ones who seem quite willing to be violent, able to get that close to players is stupid and dangerous. What if someone who is particularly unbalanced decides to bring a knife or a gun? It’s not out of the realm of possibility and that’s scary. If I were the players, I’d make damn sure that access to me was blocked. You can clearly see the faces of these guys. What about a ban or charges of harassment? Real Madrid, please safeguard the players from these nut jobs. They have no sense and no boundaries. It’s a recipe for disaster.

I was disappointed with the loss. I cursed. A LOT. I ordered a couple of more pints than I probably should of. Then I went home and stuffed my face with the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies I baked pre-match, just in case. I looked at cute baby animal videos. I pouted. I watched The Good Wife. I pouted some more and went to sleep. I did not think “You know what would make this better? If I could scream at the people who lost in person! Yeah! It’s not like they’re feeling bad about it or anything. It’s not like they’re suffering from this loss. No, it is all about me. I have been wounded and injured to the very core of my soul by this loss. HOW DARE THEY?! DID THEY NOT CONSIDER HOW IT WOULD FEEL TO ME?” Me, me me. The entitlement of these arseholes is unbelievable.  You know, they seem to know everything and exactly how it should go. They should be running this team and playing but they’re not. Why? BECAUSE THEY CAN’T.  So I suggest these dickheads take several seats and let the pros do their jobs. Teams do not always win. DEAL WITH IT.  It’s okay to be disappointed. It’s okay to want and wish for more. It’s not okay to kick cars and scream abuse. Grow the fuck up. It’s a game.  Most of these same people gave you La Decima, so shut the fuck up and back down for a bit. You were singing their praises and kissing their arses just a few months ago. Give them a chance to sort things out. There are injuries, they’re exhausted. Your shitty attitude is not helping or motivating the team. It’s making things worse. How can you not see that?!?!?!

Oh, right. I guess it’s pretty dark with your head so far up your ass.

I wish for one day these dickweeds could switch places with the players and see how it really feels to be slated like this. To have to measure up to the arbitrary whims of a bunch of armchair quarterbacks with god complexes. Wonder how they would enjoy it?

Check yourself before you wreck yourself , crazy Real Madrid “fans” and remember: “Garbage in, garbage out.” As Lou Reed once said “You’re going to reap just what you sow.”

As for me, hala Madrid y nada mas. (And that Benz backheel yesterday? Ooof! Sex on a stick, yo).

    Co-sign 100%

    100%

Interestingly I had also prepared a peanut buttery snack for after the match…just in case. I had my dessert, drink some wine – endured some ribbing from Barca fans that I know. And then I moved on.

There are very few times when violence or property damage is warranted(like avoiding a natural disaster, so you break into a building for shelter, violence in case of self defense or defense of a vulnerable person) it IS NEVER warranted as a result of a sporting event.

I find that peanut butter is just about the only thing that gets me through a Clasico disappointment with some shred of sanity left. Maybe I should ship a case or two of my peanut butter cookies over to the socios so they could stress eat and leave our players alone?

I’m happy to say that, for once, Real Madrid has acted swiftly and are taking legal action and have banned the dude that was a socio.

I’m with you – there is absolutely no reason this (and so many other ridiculous actions by fans) should be happening because of a sporting event.

So much for the support I wished fans would show. How unbelievably disgusting and stupid. It’s really sad how bad of a reputation these idiots are giving to Madridistas. But really, I can’t think of another “fanbase” who would do something like this. WTF?!

Oh, I can think of quite a few footy fanbases that have done this and worse. Immediately I think of the tragic and senseless death of JS Kabylie striker Albert Ebosse at the hands of his own team’s fans this past August. People really need to get a grip. Pronto.

        Andres Escobar…

…The fans murdered in Port Said, Franco Nieto (captain of Argentine third division side Tiro Federal who was beaten with a brick by fans, a player and an assistant coach of a rival side in front of his wife and baby in the parking lot after a match. He died in the hospital.) The ref who fatally stabbed a player and then was beheaded, drawn & quartered by the crowd in Brazil, Richard Nieuwenhuizen, a Dutch linesman beaten by youth players after a match who later died and it’s not just happening in other places. I can think of 2 instances right here in the US where referees have been killed by angry players. It’s deeply disturbing.

My god…hence the quotations around fanbase. Those people really are not in football for the right reasons, but rather to vent their psychopathic behaviors in an area that warrants fanaticism. Unbelievable.

100% on point. As an outsider (or as mygypsyspirit might say, a half-assed Madridista), I am horrified that anyone would think it was OK to behave in such a fashion towards a club the claim to love. Even my 3 year old (who is a known terrorist) knows better than to treat people in such fashion. Glad to hear the club has taken action, but sad knowing it had to come to that based on the reprehensible behavior of GROWN ASS MEN.

Your terrorist would say something like “Noooooooo Gareth! I don’t like it”

*eye roll* Of course one tries to block the filming of their idiocy. These guys make the Milan and Roma ultras and the Fenerbache fans from the weekend look classy by comparison. Low classy, to be sure, but classy.

    • mygypsyspirit March 24, 2015 at 11:19 am #

It was probably the socio that tried to block the filming.

Preach it! The minute I heard about this, I rolled my eyes and thought really? Glad the club is punishing them.

What is the purpose of the doofus in the dayglow rain slicker? How are these guys allowed to approach the cars and get in the player’s faces like that without being blocked, pull away, something? Sergio must have balls of steel (or a brain of cottage cheese) to open his window and allow them to get in his albeit gorgeous face like that!
