::sings:: “Tomorrow! Tomorrow! We’ll know more tomorrow! The reveal of our semi-final opponent is only a day away!” :: (I’m not wearing the wig watishista Dollo, but the dog purse is under my desk. Sorry for the in joke, folks. Long story…). We’re advanced to our fifth consecutive Champions League semi-final. Hooray! And tomorrow we’ll find out if we face Barcelona, Juventus or Bayern Munich.
I’ll be super stressed no matter what the decision. Do we play against Barca yet again? Ugh. Do we lock horns with Bayern against Pep and ::sob:: Xabi? WAH! Or do we have to take on the Lion King, King Muppet Baby, Gigi, Pirlo and Claudio ::swoon:: Marchisio (just to name a few)? There’s a whole lot of Do. Not. Want. happening from every angle, but that’s what it’s like when you get down to the final four. I’m not going to worry about it at the moment. We’ve got to get through Celta and deal with all these injuries.
The team had a recovery session today. All the starters versus Atleti worked out indoors with the exception of Cristiano who warmed up outside.
Iker, Keylor Navas, Pacheco, Arbeloa, Nacho, Marcelo, Illarra, Sami, Lucas Silva, Jesé and academy player Javi Muñoz did drills and then played a practice game. (Training Video)
Lukita, Karim & G-Money continued their recovery process. We face Celta de Vigo on Sunday in the Liga.

Marchisio: Swoon indeed. Yeesh, that boy.
Who is Lion King? and I am guessing that Muppet Baby is Tevez.
I thought Muppet Baby was Morata, but I may be wrong.
As for Lion King, I think it’s Fernando Llorente
I don’t really know, I was just thinking King Muppet Baby was Tevez because of his goal celebrations. He always breaks out a pacifier and he kind of looks like a muppet.
It all goes back to the HB & HB Glossary (which is woefully out of date. Really need to deal with that!)
Muppet Babies are young ‘ballers. When Alvaro Morata was still on Castilla and looking like this, we ended up dubbing him the King of the Muppet Babies.
The Lion King is indeed, Fernando Llorente, the Basque Lion.
