Sami Says Goodbye

23 May

Even though we knew he was going, it’s still hard to see Sami saying goodbye. I would have really liked to see him play one more time. Sounds like Sami felt the same way.  It’s a real shame that things ended this way. I’ve always admired Sami for how he’s conducted himself. He’s intelligent, well-spoken, dignified, stayed out of trouble, worked hard and, avoided all the inter-team political drama and  was an all around good guy. I’ll really miss him. May you go from strength to strength, Sami. You deserve every good thing.

Sorry to see him go. Sure he’ll land of his feet at his next team, though.

My god, I absolutely hate the way Madrid shuts out players like this, especially ones as amazing and deserving as Sami! Who the hell deemed him “unneeded”? Lord knows we desperately needed someone like him in the midfield this season. He used to be so vital to our team, and no doubt he would have helped us tremendously in the midst of our midfield crisis. SMDH.
I wish you the very best Sami! Thanks for everything ❤
I think he'd do great in the Premier League(hopefully he's reunited with Mesut!)
