Well, the pre-season prep is heating up. Pre-season starts officially tomorrow. Lots to catch up on! Marcelo & Dani were the first to get back to work on Wednesday.
Keylor, The Baby and Danilo started back to training yesterday.
We’re going to be starting the season with some injuries. Thankfully Dani, The Baby and Danilo are pretty much healed. But James, Keylor, Cristiano and Coentrão (yep, he’s coming back) are injured. Cris & Keylor will probably miss the Super Cup on August 9th, which also means that they probably won’t be on the pre-season tour.
There’s going to be some squad number changes this season too.
Dani will wear #2, Varane will wear #5, Lucas will wear #17, Morata will wear #21 and Coentrão will wear #15.
And the La Liga fixtures for the 2016-2017 season have been announced! We start August 21 away at Real Sociedad and end the season May 21, 2017 playing Malaga. The Clasicos will be December 4th and April 23.

Champions League Draw: August 25
First international break: August 29- September 6
Club World Cup in Yokohama, Japan: December 15
And the new kit was debuted and this year’s color is purple.
The kit was launched with an odd little campaign that seems to center around Real Madrid fans around the world. Various Blancos sent out the new kit to famous people worldwide and there were videos that went with each one.
