Since there is men’s and women’s football at the Olympics, we’re going to alternate our Drools between the two competitions. First up for Brazil is Formiga. The 38 year old midfielder currently plays for São José. She has been representing Brazil since 1995. She is the only player to have made been a part of every Olympics since women’s football was added in 1996. Also, she and H0mare Sawa are tied with 6 consecutive Women’s World Cups each. Amazing!
