Believe it or not, we’re officially 6 today! How times does fly! Special thanks to the watishista correspondents, especially mygypsyspirit and hopechaser, without whom this blog would have gone under long ago as my real life has taken a massive chunk out of my blog time.
Thank you so much to all of you for being so wonderful and engaged; for indulging us in our silliness and love of all things footy but especially our Blanco boys. I have met friends of a lifetime through this place, learned so much, laughed and cried and shared so many experiences. I love how sport can make the world smaller in the best of ways. This crazy love that we share bonds us and overrides so many other differences. Long may the fun continue.

Congratulations on birthday #6!! In blog years that has got to be, what, 60? 😉
I’m sad difficulties on my end kept me from being all that involved the latter part of last year. But, I promise I have a couple items in the works. 🙂

This was a challenging year professionally and I’ve had even less time to write so I completely understand. Whenever you have the time, you know I would love to have you write here!

Thanks, Jel! To be truthful, I don’t know what she’s up to these days. She kinda moved on once she left the blog and didn’t come back here very often but as far as I know she’s still in Detroit. I do get in touch with her via Twitter each year for her birthday. It’s coming up in a couple of days so I’ll pass your hello on to her. She’s not very active on Twitter anymore either so I really have no clue what she’s been up to lately!
