Wednesday Training

The first session of the week saw the team gathering for a session. Vallejo completed part of it with the group (hooray!) while The Baby trained alone on the pitch. (Video)

UEFA Club Coaches Forum

Zizou met up with some of the usual suspects in Nyon for the UEFA Coaches Forum on Wednesday as well. SAF was the chair for the event and I spy my boo Pierluigi Collina in the background. There was also a former players’ round table discussion with people like Xabi Alonso (::sob::), Clarence Seedorf and Peter Schmeichel. Here’s more on who was there and what went on. (You just know there was some major stank eye at Zizou from Rafa and Mou). I’d honestly love to be a fly on the wall so I could listen to what they discussed.

Thursday Training

Vallejo trained fully with the group today, The Baby trained alone and Llorente worked out indoors. (Video)

And in case you were wondering what was happening in Internationals Land, Cris scored a hat trick and had an assist in Portugal’s 5-1 win over Faroe Islands. (As he does.) Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii indeed.
