Our latest and unexpected official signing for CD Tacon / Real Madrid is Nigerian defender Osinachi Ohale! The 27-year-old joins us from Sweden where she played for Vaxjo DFF and Vittsjo GIK respectively. Prior to this she was part of the Rivers Angels club in Nigeria’ Women Premier League and the NWSL’s Houston Dash.
Internationally, Osinachi has won the African Women’s Championship with Nigeria four times (2010, 2014, 2016, and 2018). She was also played in the 2011, 2015, and 2019 Women’s World Cups.
She’s known as a versatile defender and oh wow do we definitely need those skills.
