I know I have not checked in for a long time. Just wondering how everyone is doing especially the watishtas in Spain, Italy, USA. Hope you are all well and able to avoid catching the COVID-19 virus. Stay safe, everyone.
Hey there –
Unfortunately, I caught the virus and pneumonia, ended up in the hospital but was able to be released. It was awful. But I am so grateful that I made it through. It has been a long and non-linear recovery with symptoms that pop up again when you least expect it. But I am at the point now where I am having more good days than bad and that is fantastic. My breathing is mostly stable and I am slowly gaining strength. The rest of the Sweaty Shanks Pena here in NYC are fine, thankfully, although some family members have gotten it. Please take care of yourself and stay safe. This thing is no joke. The speed and ferocity with which it came on was startling. I was completely fine and then the next day, I was completely incapacitated.
I have been thinking about our watishista family as well and I am sending good energy out into the universe to keep them safe. Hopefully, I will be able to get to some updates here soon.
Thank you so much for checking in! It means alot. xoxo
