2019 Women’s World Cup: Stacked, Jacked, and Backed

Holy hot balls – can you believe it’s been almost 4 years since the US lifted their 3rd Women’s World Cup trophy in Vancouver?! Unreal. So much has happened in women’s football since then – high profile retirements (and subsequent un-retirements), new domestic leagues, big name club inaugurations, break out national teams, national team strikes and lawsuits, new international tournaments, emerging stories of sexism, racism, and sexual assaults, women’s football directors at FIFA, UEFA, and CONCACAF, increased sponsorships and money, etc etc. Whew – it’s hard to keep track of all the developments!
