World Cup 2014: Minimalist Posters of Memorable Football Moments

There have been some incredible moments at this World Cup. I’ll never forget Tim Cahill’s goal vs Netherlands. That has to be one of, if not THE, goal of this tournament. Xherdan Shaqiri’s thunderbolt vs Honduras was so good, even in a game which saw him net two more. There was Memo Ochoa’s performance vs Brazil. How calm he was, just chewing his gum, moving to and fro across the goal with ease, his hair perfectly coiffed with the headband. There were also Keylor Navas’ go-go-gadget performances vs everyone. And Tim Howard vs Belgium. So many memorable moments.

Things To Do in Dubai When You’re Hot

Cristiano has been in Dubai for a couple of days making some appearances. His main reason for being there was to be the keynote speaker for the 6th Dubai International Sports Conference. Other speakers included Fabio Capello and Drool alum Alessandro Del Piero. I love the Batman angle they got on Alessandro with a looming Cris above him. They are both such beautiful men, aren’t they?

The scorching hot Scorpio is a deep-lying striker who has been playing for Juventus since 1993 making 490 appearances and scoring 205 goals.  He was voted to the FIFA 100 (a list of the greatest living footballers) and one of the best European players of the past 50 years in the UEFA Golden Jubilee poll. He has also played for the Italian National Team (U-21 from 1993-1996 and senior team 1995-2008).  He is *gorgeous* and I can’t promise that I won’t try to spirit him away to Brooklyn when Juventus plays Club America at CitiField next month. Hopefully, Shiggers will rein me in.
