Wenger Out (For Real)

20 Apr

It’s the end of an era. Arsene Wenger announced today that he will be stepping down at the end of the season after 22 years as manager of Arsenal (and a full year before his contract was to expire). So what do we think a post-Wenger Arsenal will look like? And who do you think will be his replacement?

Arsene’s Getting A Little Assistance

3 Nov

I am weeping this Puma ad. Arsene Wenger’s battles with his coat zipper are legendary, so Puma decided to help him out. Just brilliant. He’s being a really good sport about it  but why not? Own your inability to zip your coat, Arsene, we’ve all been there! It brings to mind my other fave Arsene representation. Continue reading

8 Oct

Joel CampbellForward/winger Joel signed to Arsenal in 2011, but has spent all of that time out on loan stints (Lorient, Real Betis & Olympiacos) mainly due to work permit issues. After a stand out performance at the 2014 World Cup, Arsene Wenger decided to include Joel in his plans for the upcoming season. He has represented Costa Rica at the U17, U20 and senior levels.

arsene-wengerWatishista Jenny requested Arsene and said she would shag him without shame in November (hopefully she still feels that way?) Wenger has been helming Arsenal since 1996. Prior to that he managed Nancy-Lorraine, AS Monaco and Nagoya Grampus Eight.
