The Daily Drool: Kiko Femenía

Kiko F2I thought I’d start the New Year out with one of our own bebes. Right winger Kiko signed for Castilla in August after 2 years at Barcelona B where he claimed he had been “ruined emotionally” (always the dramz between our two teams). However, he hasn’t really featured much for the team as of yet. (Castilla followers – can you give us some insight as to why?) He has represented Spain at the U18, U19 and U20 levels.

The Daily Drool: Jordi Gómez

23 Jun

Barcelona-born Jordi came up through their youth ranks. He made his senior debut with Barcelona B in 2005. He moved on to Espanyol B in 2007 and then up to Espanyol’s first team in 2008.  In June of that year, he was loaned to Swansea City for the season. He returned to Espanyol and was sold to Wigan Athletic in the EPL in 2009, where he remains. Wigan narrowly missed relegation this year and Gómez wasn’t on yesterday’s released list so hopefully, it’s full speed ahead for him. He represented Spain once on the U17 team in 2001.
