Double Session, A Visitor, An Injury, A Presser

Let’s be real, it’s kinda hard to talk about anything but Iker right now isn’t it? Well, I guess we could always talk about how another club stalwart, Basti Schweinsteiger, is leaving Bayern Munich for Manchester United. It’s a shit day for fans of one career team players, that’s for sure.

But alas, life back at RM continues to chug on. The team had a double session today before they head off to Melbourne tomorrow to start the pre-season.

Rihanna was all over this World Cup. Say what you will, but the girl loves her sports. I’ve seen her several times at Brooklyn Nets games. (I was at the infamous playoff game where she was braless and her BFF Melissa Forde wore what I can only describe as Karim Benzema’s fantasy pajamas. Not sure how much of the game anyone saw that night). The first shots showed her with a Brazil flag painted on her throat (?!) and Pele’s name on her cheek.

I could not be more delighted with Germany’s win and that there was a whole lot of celebratory Schweinski made it that much better.

World Cup 2014 – The Wake Up Call & Even Weirder Beat Up Xabi Photoshoot

Adidas launched their Wake Up Call campaign starring (as usual) Messi along with Dani Alves, Basti Schweinsteiger, Luis Suarez,  Xavi, Jordi Alba, Mesut Ozil,  Robin Van Persie and David Villa along with many of their national teammates. It’s supposed to be dreamlike but the photo shoot after the jump is more the stuff of nightmares.

Thursday Late Night Bits & Bobs

How does this always happen? I get home from work late, eat dinner and then sit down to post – poof! – it’s close to 11 PM. I give up. Here’s a quick rundown.

Yours truly has been totes slacking on the bits and bobs over the past couple of days. If I don’t get them up daily, they start to be overwhelming. So here’s a bit of a clear out.
