Thursday Late Night Bits & Bobs

11 Jul

Nacho (1)How does this always happen? I get home from work late, eat dinner and then sit down to post – poof! – it’s close to 11 PM. I give up. Here’s a quick rundown.

First, congrats to Nacho who yesterday extended his contract with Real Madrid for an additional 4 years. Continue reading

UPDATED: Back To Training, Bits & Bobs Including A Pirata Memory

30 Aug

The boys got back to work today. Me? I’m just struggling to keep from falling into a funk. It’s hard to believe that we won a trophy last night by beating Barca and I’m in this crap of a mood. The Pirata transfer upset me even more than I expected, our Champions League draw is total Group of Death and work has sucked completely. Ugh.  Anyhow, I’m gonna post a a few things and hope that by the time the transfer window is over and I wake up tomorrow, I’ll be in a better mood. So, yeah, training… Continue reading

The Sex Beard is gone again. Sergio tweeted 2 new shots today. Looks like it was gone as of last night. Sigh. It’ll be back! Continue reading

Bits & Bobs: Shaky But Surviving, Goodbye Sin City, Play Ball, A Vulture And Some Duckies

22 Jul

Well, I’m hanging in there. Still pretty shaky but I’m going to attempt to go see Chelsea/PSG. I’m meeting up with forzasusan and PLL. If I make it that far, I’ll see if I can make it to Yankees Stadium. It’s all very touch and go. I feel like a new born foal. Very wobbly on the legs.  Thanks for all the get well wishes!

Mesut has finally left Sin City and it’s scantily clad ladies behind (one hopes they’re not stumbling along in stilettos and garters somewhere behind him) for the more natural and wholesome wonders of the Grand Canyon. I approve of this destination! Continue reading

The Daily Drool: Simon Kjaer

12 Dec

Lord, he’s Nando-pretty, isn’t he? Center back Simon is currently on loan to Roma from VfL Wolfsburg and is gonna give Bojan some competition on the young fresh faced pretty stakes. He has played for the Danish national team youth sides since 2006 and moved up to the senior side in 2009.

The Daily Drool: Epic Bromance Month – Bojan/Titi

3 Oct

Ah, such love between the veteran star and the bebe! These two were joined at the hip during their Barcelona time together. How cute are they? Onward…

Bits and Bobs: Cesc Socializing, Water Wings, Victory, Bad Hair and Transfers

22 Jun

Awkward moments on the town with Cesc Fabregas:“Hey Gio, haven’t seen you since the World Cup Final! Wasn’t that day awesome?! Oh…um, never mind”

Cesc continues to live it up in Jakarta. He tweeted this picture of himself hanging out with Dutch ‘baller Gio van Bronckhorst. He wasn’t the only one enjoying himself today. New pix of the Torres family surfaced as well in the Daily Mail (along with Rio Ferdinand in a pool surrounded by women, but I don’t much care about that). Clickthrough for the ovary exploding cuteness…

30 May

Well, I guess we’ve finally found something that Barca can’t do: dance.  (Alleged secret Madridista spy) Shakira called her sol,  Pique, up on stage along with Xavi, Bojan, Villa,  Busquets and Pedro for an impromptu sexy dance lesson. The results were predictably hilarious. Even better was this article in the Daily Mail, which is chock full Pikira PDA shots and one gloriously unexpected Busquets slam (which I just found out that The Daily Mail plagiarized from Dirty Tackle – yikes!) Anyhow, enjoy watching boys dance awkwardly. That’s always good times fun, no matter what team it is!

Very, Very Interesting…

16 Apr

Debating the merits of which hair gel to use in the game today

So…Marca is reporting the starting line up as follows and I find it very, very interesting – to say the least:

Goalkeeper: Iker

Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Albiol, Carvalho, Marcelo

Midfield: Pepe, Xabi Alonso, Sami Khedira

Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Angel Di Maria.

So he’s going with a 4-3-3 and leaving Ozil out of it?  Hmmmm, 3 central defenders and CripsyKarim and Fideo up front. What do you guys think about that? Puyi is back for Barca today as well (Bojan and Abidal are still out).  I’ll be interested to see how this works. In Mou We Trust!

Some other little bits…
