Brazilian-born Italian left back joined Chelsea in 2018. He has represented Brazil at the U17 level and Italy at the senior level.

The Daily Drool – Europa League – Zenit Saint Petersburg: Hernani

Midfielder Hernani Azevedo Júnior, better known as just Hernani, joined Zenit in 2017. He has represented Brazil at the U17 level.

Defensive midfielder Thiago plays for Lille. He has represented Brazil at the U17, U20 and U23 levels.

The Daily Drool: Gabriel Barbosa (Gabigol)

Up and coming forward Gabigol currently plays for Inter Milan. He has represented Brazil at the U15, U17, U20, U23 and senior levels.

The Daily Drool – Copa America – Brazil: Alisson Becker

Goalkeeper Alisson currently plays for Roma. He has represented Brazil at the U17, U20 and senior levels. I’ve always thought of Alisson as a girl’s name and thought “Okay, maybe I’m wrong.” but then I found that his older brother (also a goalkeeper) is named Muriel, which is also usually a woman’s name so I have no idea what’s going on with the Becker clan. Brazilians, is this a common practice in your country? Are these two names more unisex? Anyhow, I have this stuck in my head now.

The Daily Drool – Champions League Group A: Real Madrid’s Casemiro

As we do each year, we celebrate the kick off of the Champions League by featuring Drools from each team. First up is our own defensive midfielder Casemiro. He just come back to us after a stint at Porto and signed a contract extension until 2021 yesterday. He has represented Brazil at the U17, U20 and senior levels.

19 year old attacking midfielder Gabriel just joined AS Monaco from Sao Paulo. He has represented Brazil at the U17 and U20 levels.

The Daily Drool: Lucas Piazón

Forward Lucas plays for Chelsea. He just turned 19 at the end of January and I feel a little dirty looking at this cute wee Muppet Baby, but what can you do? He has represented Brazil at the – gasp! – U15 and U17 levels. Oy.
