I was just wondering the other day when Camille was going to have the baby and then hopechaser alerted me that she already did! Totally missed the announcement on Instagram. The Baby and Camille welcome a little boy on March 9th. No name was mentioned.

New Year & Holiday Fun

Hope everyone had a lovely New Year’s Eve and have been enjoying the day today. As promised, a bumper crop of what various ‘ballers have been doing on their holidays. There have been engagements, baby announcements, singing in the mirror while dressed in a towel (Cristiano), blue gradient shoes (Sergio), celebrating on a camel (Mateo & Lukita) and a rather ungracious joke about a rival (Toni Kroos, being a bit rude, IMHO).  Let’s dig in! (It’s long so be prepared!)

Tomorrow I’ll have a full round up of all the ‘baller NYE action, but this was too good not to share right away. Our Baby is about to be a daddy! It seems like just yesterday he was arriving in Madrid. Congratulations to Raphaël and Camille on their impending bundle of joy! I can’t wait to see your woobins.

The Baby wed his long time girlfriend Camille Tytgat Saturday in France. How adorable and in love do these two look?

Mazel Tov! The Baby Is Getting Married!

The Baby is all set to marry his childhood sweetheart Camille Tytgat on June 20th. They’re planning a small ceremony with about 70 friends and family members in upscale resort town of Le Touquet. They will first have a civil ceremony at city hall followed by a religious ceremony at Sainte Jeanne d’Arc’s Church. Raphaël is 22 and Camille is 21. The happy couple met in secondary school and have been together for several years.

I’ve always liked these two together because they seem quiet and steady and keep well away from the paparazzi. Ballers seem to marry really early don’t they?  When The Baby starts having babies, I’m going to feel REALLY old.

Getting Ready For The Copa Del Rey, Even MORE Tennis, USWNT vs. Korea, Update on Spain vs. Ireland And More

Why is the last day in the office before vacation always a nightmare of epic proportions?! I’ve been racing around for days trying to get things settled before I leave tomorrow afternoon, but I feel like I’ll be up until midnight easily sorting things out. Haven’t even packed yet. Anyhow, Here’s a quick and dirty catch up post.

The team did their first training to prepare for the Copa Del Rey final on Friday. Sami was back to training intensely, Pipa was inside while Sese, Mesut & Marcelo continued with their recovery.
