Defender Christie is the captain of the US Women’s National Team. She has played in the finals of the 1999, 2003 & 2007 Women’s World Cup and the 2000, 2004 & 2008 Olympics. She has been a member of the national team since 1997, making 235 appearances for her country. She also just signed this year to magicJack (formerly Washington Freedom) of the Women’s Professional Soccer league. Christie is mom to two small daughters, Rylie and Reece. USA! USA! USA!
