I’ve got a bit to catch up on. Getting home after 10 PM from work last night didn’t lend itself to posting. It did however feature ordering take out and falling asleep while eating said take out. It was one of those days.

Mou Presser/Call Up For Betis/Benz & Cris Are Back

Mou had a really good presser today. The RM website had excerpts but I’m really interested to read a full translation because there were some things that I saw elsewhere that didn’t show up in this. Perhaps Unamadridista will have a full run down tomorrow.

Ouch And Hooray!

That picture kinda says it all, doesn’t it? Ronaldo triumphs and Almeria is deader than a doornail. The “ouch” is for both me and Almeria. I threw out my back this morning and I’m in quite a bit of pain (as I imagine the relegated Almeria is tonight. My condolences). I’m just trying to stay resting quietly until I go to my acupuncturist tomorrow morning.  I hobbled on down to the pub to watch our boys play the last match of the season and Crissy break the La Liga scoring record. I wasn’t disappointed!

Something We Can Be Proud Of

In a week that has brought some unhappy moments from/for our team, we can at least be proud of this. Today we played a match vs. Selección de Murcia to benefit the people affected by the Lorca earthquake.

What A Day For Cris!

Ah, this will be a quickie. I’m sleepy, I’m watching Saturday Night Live and I have a busy day of school work ahead of me tomorrow. What a match and what a spanking for Sevilla. I was truly surprised at the final score. I expected a more balanced game.

So…Marca is reporting the starting line up as follows and I find it very, very interesting – to say the least:

Goalkeeper: Iker

Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Albiol, Carvalho, Marcelo

Midfield: Pepe, Xabi Alonso, Sami Khedira

Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Angel Di Maria.

So he’s going with a 4-3-3 and leaving Ozil out of it?  Hmmmm, 3 central defenders and CripsyKarim and Fideo up front. What do you guys think about that? Puyi is back for Barca today as well (Bojan and Abidal are still out).  I’ll be interested to see how this works. In Mou We Trust!
