The Daily Drool: Edmar (Edmar Halovskyi de Lacerda)

Brazilian midfielder Edmar has played for Metalist Kharkiv since 2007. He became a naturalized Ukranian citizen to play for the senior national team and to his surprise, he was drafted into the army in July of 2014 during Ukraine’s conflict with Russia. He is married to a Ukranian woman and chose to remain in the country during the unrest.
