They sure grow up quick don’t they? Our very own Marcos Llorente is our Drool for the day of the Champions League final. Photographer Bernardo Doral took some amazing pictures of Marcos. Here are a couple more (1, 2) The Madrid-born winger joined Castilla in 2014, making his first team debut in 2015. His family is Real Madrid to the core. His father Paco and great uncle Francisco Gento were wingers and his grandfather Ramón Grosso was a forward for the Merengues. That’s some Blanco blood there for sure! He has represented Spain at the U19 and U21 levels.

21 OctOne of our great legends, Gento, turns 81 today. He’s the only player to have won 6(!!!!!!) European Cups. He began his career with Racing Santander staying for one season (1952-1953). He joined Real Madrid the next season where he played from 1953-1971 until his retirement. He also played for Spain and Spain B. After his playing career, he went on to coach. Continue reading
