New Year & Holiday Fun

Hope everyone had a lovely New Year’s Eve and have been enjoying the day today. As promised, a bumper crop of what various ‘ballers have been doing on their holidays. There have been engagements, baby announcements, singing in the mirror while dressed in a towel (Cristiano), blue gradient shoes (Sergio), celebrating on a camel (Mateo & Lukita) and a rather ungracious joke about a rival (Toni Kroos, being a bit rude, IMHO).  Let’s dig in! (It’s long so be prepared!)

Gong xi fa cai! The Chinese New Year is approaching and the team gathered together to send their good wishes. This year was extra exciting as the video features Real Madrid’s first ever Chinese player, Lin Liangming of Juvenil A.

Training, Year Of The Horse, 10 Years Of The Pony & More

Sergio showed that he count on both hands how many years he’s been active in La Liga. Isn’t his first decade coinciding with the Year of  the Horse a delicious coincidence? BTW, there is video of the boys doing their Chinese New Year greeting but it’s hideous quality. I’m liking it here, but hopefully a better version will be available soon and I’ll post that one.

Last Training Of The Year

The team had their last training of the year today and it was open to members. People traveled from as far away as France, Italy and Portugal to see the boys in action.
