Confederations Cup – 2017 Edition with a 2013 Mini Throwback

Has it really been three years since Brazil?! I’m trying not to think about it, because it means only one year from WC2018 and that is just too much. Too much. But before that, there’s the Confederations Cup to get through. Time for Russia and its football fans to show us all how welcoming and accepting they are, despite the negative press.

Poor Júlio did not have a good time at the World Cup with the Brazilian National Team. Let’s hope his club season goes better wherever he ends up. While currently at QPR, it looks like Benfica is interested.

It’s really hard to concentrate on anything else but the fact that Iker had surgery today and two screws were put in. It’s being reported that the doctor says that ‘recovery in anything less than 12 weeks would be considered a success.’ THREE MONTHS? Argh. Poor woobins. Send some good thoughts his way for a quick recovery.
