Yes, I still exist! And I still watch football! I’m just in the middle of school and job hunting and freelancing and shit has been mad challenging for awhile. I don’t have any help here at the moment so I just can’t keep up. But whatever, that’s my drama, not your’s so how about that Benz hat trick? Very nice indeed. The team signed the ball (shirtless in many cases, thanks for the video RM!) and said that he was going to give it to Melia. Aw!

Prepping For El Clasico & Boss Babies

I’ve been focusing on letter writing to get out the vote for the midterm elections so that’s definitely cut down on my Real Madrid time. I did get to watch the Champions League match (while still writing) but it’s been hit or miss otherwise for the past few weeks.  But El Clasico is upon us and I’ve just posted my final bunch of letters so I’m taking a break from freaking out about the fuckery in my country to focus on freaking out about El Clasico. Ugh.

“Class Picture Day” 2018 & More

Los Blancos had their annual team picture taken today or as I call it “Class Picture Day” because everyone gets all spiffy and is on their best behavior just like you do when you’re in school.

The team headed off for Tallinn, Estonia to meet Atleti in the UEFA Super Cup.

The Week So Far…

I make a whole big statement about starting to post again and then promptly get felled by an epic bronchial infection that has had me flat on my ass all week. Typical.  Anyhow, I’m slowly starting to come out of it now so I’m going to try again! There’s the bulk of a week to catch up on so I’ll do a drive by.

Ballon F’ive

I’m back! Kind of…I brought back a very special souvenir of my vacation – some sort of tropical crud that ended me up in the hospital last night – I kid you not – so I’m on doctor ordered bed rest for the next few days. But I would be remiss if I didn’t do a brief post to celebrated Cristiano’s fifth Ballon D’or! Well deserved!

While I was off in LA, Benz posted a photo of his six month old son Ibrahim who is adorable and looks just like his old man. WHAT SON?! you may be saying (like me!), well, you know the son that was born on May 14 with his wife. WHAT WIFE?! you may be saying (much like me!) and the answer to that would be the gorgeous Cora Gauthier, who he has been dating since late 2015. They apparently married in secret. I was totally oblivious. I guess because this all came out right about the time we won La Liga and that’s all I was thinking about.  Congrats to Karim, Cora and big sister Melia.
