Watishing Into (Thank F**k) 2021

31 Dec

Well, this year has been nothing but hell, so I thought I would choose a soothing picture of Fernando’s arse from back in the day. This is probably one of my all time fave Sernando pictures and we have bonus Chori & Xabi. Oh the good old days!

So where have I been, you may (or may not) have been asking? Well, it has been a hell of a saga… Continue reading

So Yeah, We Did That

13 Jun

Leave it to Real Madrid to feed the Drama Llama the extra special Purina llama chow.  I just can’t. As I was telling watishista M in the comments, I’ve been dealing with major upheavals in my own life, hence, why there has been almost no posting besides the Drools since the Champions League final.  I have not been able to handle one iota extra of clusterfuckery and as we all know, our beloved team serves it up by the truck load. Case in point: our new coach, Julen Lopetegui. Continue reading

Look Who Got Called Up!

7 Nov

B11xyeMIgAEOmU5So happy and proud of Calleti & Morata, who received a call up for La Roja’s matches against Belarus and Germany. I really hope that they get to make their debut. (Other n00bs: Nolito & the fabulously named Nacho Camacho). And congrats to our other boys (and ex-boys): Iker, Isco, Sergio & Albiol. They report on November 12. (Congrats also to Álvaro Medrán on his first call up for the U21 team).

Mazel Tov: Spanish Women’s National Team Qualifies For World Cup For First Time!

14 Sep

BxaVc8aIYAAgrEqCongrats to the Spanish Women’s National Team who qualified for their first ever World Cup with a win over Romania yesterday. In the run up to that match, some of their buddies from La Roja (Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Koke, Raúl García, Marc Bartra, Cesar Azpilicueta, Cesc Fabregas and Santi Cazorla) made a video to show their support. Sergio Ramos Scroll Down Fug

2 Sep

tumblr_nb9x65eJJY1qftb6ko1_1280Reporting for national team duty or digging for clams? Could go either way. However, I see he’s got himself a new clutch murse. (Yes, I know it’s in fashion but…) And what is that pattern on the shirt cuffs? Could it be animal footprints? That would be very Ramos-tastic.

Sigh. It could be worse, though. So much worse.
