Midfielder Lena has played for VfL Wolfsburg since 2011. She has represented Germany at the U17, U19, U20, U23 and senior levels. She has been capped over 100 times.

The Reign of VfL Wolfsburg

VfL Wolfsburg surprised many last year when they beat powerhouse Olympique Lyonnais to win the UEFA Women’s Championship League title. They repeated that triumph this year after a fantastic battle vs Tyresö FF, and becoming the first German football team to successfully defend a Champions League title. To cap the season, Wolfsburg also secured their second consecutive Bundesliga title.
