Saw this last night but by that time I was already in bed and did not have the energy to get back up and post it. Congrats to Sergio, Pilar and big brothers to be Sergio Jr. and Marco! I’ll always welcome another Ramos Rubio woobins. I hope this time it’s a little girl so that they dress her in animal prints all the time like her mami. They’ve been oddly conservative with clothing for the boys. As you well know, I was hoping for maximum neon flash ala Sergio and Pilar. But who knows, maybe the third time will be the charm baby clothing-wise, right?

An Old Friend Returns

What is that I spy on Sergio? Could it be a headband? Why yes, yes it is. Lordy, we haven’t seen one of those on him in years. I can only see it as a good omen (and a shout out, because clearly he loves watishistas). Feels like an old friend has come back home.

It’s Father’s Day in Europe and here’s how a few of the ballers acknowledged it. First up, The Baby and his baby (we still don’t know his name).

New Year & Holiday Fun

Hope everyone had a lovely New Year’s Eve and have been enjoying the day today. As promised, a bumper crop of what various ‘ballers have been doing on their holidays. There have been engagements, baby announcements, singing in the mirror while dressed in a towel (Cristiano), blue gradient shoes (Sergio), celebrating on a camel (Mateo & Lukita) and a rather ungracious joke about a rival (Toni Kroos, being a bit rude, IMHO).  Let’s dig in! (It’s long so be prepared!)

The players that didn’t travel to Warsaw had a training session today.

Back To Madrid, Accolades & Families

The team returned to Madrid after Wednesday’s win over Bayern Munich arriving home on Thursday. The game was fun but exhausted (the trip back seemed to take forever). Mygypsyspirit and I spent the following day recovering and hanging out. She left today so I’m getting back to work on things with a very quick catch up.
