It’s Official: Marcos Llorente To Atleti

The exodus has begun. The official announcement came down today and Marcos Llorente has moved across town to Atleti on a 5 year deal (he doesn’t look all that happy about it in the picture, does he?) Best of luck to you, kid! Just not against us.

The Daily Drool: Marcos Llorente

They sure grow up quick don’t they? Our very own Marcos Llorente is our Drool for the day of the Champions League final. Photographer Bernardo Doral took some amazing pictures of Marcos. Here are a couple more (1, 2 The Madrid-born winger joined Castilla in 2014, making his first team debut in 2015. His family is Real Madrid to the core. His father Paco and great uncle Francisco Gento were wingers and his grandfather Ramón Grosso was a forward for the Merengues. That’s some Blanco blood there for sure! He has represented Spain at the U19 and U21 levels.
