Shakira gave birth to her second son with Pique last night in Barcelona. Sasha Pique Mebarak joins his two year old big brother Milan. Congrats to the happy family!

MyGypsySpirit: What a tournament it has been! I can’t remember a tournament that has been quite as exciting as this. Granted, I have a terrible memory. But the consensus has been pretty outstanding. This was one of the best World Cups in anyone’s memory.

It’s Mother’s Day in Spain and Martin Casillas Carbonero has made a finally made full face appearance to say hi to his mami. The photo was captioned “Hi Mommy! Congratulations! Thanks for being the most wonderful mother in the world and giving me life! I love you so much! Signed: Martin # felizdiadelamadre” I love how goofy and sappy Iker is. It’s very sweet. Martin very much favors his mother, don’t you think? (Sara as a baby: 1  2  3) Some of our other faves sent out greetings to the mamis as well.

Thursday Bits & Bobs

Lordy, I have so many bits & bobs, I don’t even have a clue where to start. Ugh. How’s about I just begin with our boys? Here’s Iker (or rather Geeker from the looks of it) with a fan. Our intrepid capi also posted a  shot of his good friend Roy Batty from Blade Runner who was enjoying some LA poolside tanning.

It’s been a hectic day, not in the least because I had to buy a new computer. Always so stressful getting things set up. So I wanted to try to fit in a quick bits & bobs post before the end of the day. Not sure I’ll actually make that, but here we go! 4th of July Bits & Bobs

Toby Holden West donned his 4th of July finery and what better way to start this holiday post? For all of my fellow Americans, I hope you had a great day. Me? I had a day of epic sloth to make up for how chaotic things have been lately. I turned down every invite I got and spent the day enjoying some much needed alone time reading & watching movies. IT. WAS. BLISS. Back to work tomorrow though.
