I Suppose We Shouldn’t Tell Shiggers About This

14 Sep

When watishisto PLL tweeted the news, I burst out laughing. It appears that the New York Red Bulls have signed Digão, Kaka’s brother. Read ’em and weep. I now have a less than zero percent chance of getting her to accompany to a Red Bulls game.  I didn’t even tell her that Carol was here for Fashion Week. I thought her head would explode from that. Little did I know… For Shigs’ sake, I hope that there aren’t a lot of familial visits. Not sure how much of a deal the Red Bulls got. He’s 27 and appears to have played only about 40 matches as a pro. Even though he was at Milan from 2005-2011, he spent the bulk of that time out on loan. Well, I guess we’ll see, eh?

Oh ho! The plot thickens! There’s one sentence in this article that is going to freak Shiggers out so bad, I hesitate to post it but…well, you’ll see. I’ve bolded the sentence.

Bits & Bobs: The “I’m Really Behind” Edition

Sorry I couldn’t post last night.  Something major that I had to deal with came up and I had to take care of it right away. By the time I finished doing that, I just conked out.  I’ve been pretty busy today as well. Please accept these half naked pictures of Sergio as my apology. Continue reading

“I do not approve of all these hijinks!”

Kaka looks a little pissy there, doesn’t he? He probably wouldn’t wnjoy the contents of this post: dog kissing, fishing, Olympic sexin’ but what can you do? Found some more training shots from today (rather, RM finally put ’em on the website). Continue reading

The Daily Drool: Santino Quaranta

Winger Santino played his whole career in the MLS: DC United, LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and then made a return to DC United to end his career. He retired in 2011, but it was just announced yesterday that he’s coming out of retirement to join the new 6 team Premier League in India. There’s a really interesting article about the league and some of the other players who will be joining here. Santino represented the US at the U 17 and U 20 levels. He was also capped by the US National Team 15 times.

Another cute picture of Cesc and Robin Van Persie at the New York Red Bulls game the other night. I love Cesc’s hand on the small of Robin’s back. That’s currently my happy place! I still haven’t stumbled over the two of them wandering around New York, but one can always hope…
