The team had a recovery session today. The starters stayed indoors with the exception of Toni came out for a bit of a run.

It’s Official: Xavi Really Got Married

Well will you look at that? Xavi’s 2012 Summer of Love stuck! It’s just been a year (almost to the day) that we first set eyes on his lady (at the bottom of this post) and watched while their relationship progressed. Today Xavi and the lovely Núria Cunillera wed at the Marimurtra Botanical Gardens in Blanes, Spain.

A Quick Bitsy Bobsy Post

Oh people, what a day I had! I was an hour late for work due to some sort of subway police drama and my 20 minute one train commute turned into about 90 minutes and FOUR trains. UGH. Then I spent the morning on conference calls followed by an epic 5 hour straight meeting. To say my brain is fried doesn’t cover it. So I thought I’d post a few quick pictures of some of our faves. In the midst of all the drama, some happiness. Congrats to David Villa, his wife Patricia Gonzalez and big sisters Zaida & Olaya on the birth of baby Luca. Long may he bitchface! Can’t wait to see pictures of him. Geez, Luca seems to be the most popular ‘baller son name besides Enzo!

Update On Pepe’s Injury/Guaje Returns

Pepe was released from the hospital this morning after a night of observation. He had a CT scan and other tests while he was there. The doctors felt confident to release him and  his progress will be followed by Real Madrid’s medical staff. I’m surprised that Iker wasn’t sent in for some tests as well. 

Bits & Bobs: Now We’re Cooking With Sass And Extra Added Peen, Apparently.

Sese tweeted a shot of himself cooking and said that he enjoyed his day on his friend’s farm. *I* enjoyed these half naked shots of him on the beach in Ibiza.

I’m glad Guti wasn’t there because if he had shown up, it would have turned into a supernova of oh hell no! In Sergio’s defense, his outfit is light years better than the other guy’s but honestly!
