It’s always nice to start with the booty shots isn’t it? I think so. Well it’s crunch time for the last eight! Things are going to get tougher, quieter, & more serious as the tournament winds down. Spain will have a closed training tomorrow, BOO, and I don’t know how many other teams will decide to cut us off, because that is what they’re doing! Anywho, Spain & France got to doing their thang today and because the amount of both team’s photos were kind of light, you get a face off training post! Double the yums, ooh’s, aah’s, and woot woot’s.

The Daily Drool: Philippe Mexes
28 JanAnother center back today! Philippe played for Auxerre from 1999-2004, Roma from 2004-2011 and just joined Milan this season. He played for the French U18 and U21 before moving up to the senior team in 2002.

Footballer Fashion Follies
29 AprOMG! So melj1213 from LiveJournal came up with a brilliant idea over on ONTD_Football. She posted this shot of Guti in his neon track suit (oh please, please, please let him sign to the NY Red Bulls!) and invited others to post their favorite football fashion fails. As you can imagine, our boys featured prominently along with many others. Go read the post, it’s hysterical. Here are some of my faves along with the LJ names of the people who posted them. If you have pix to add, please feel free to stick them in the comments here or over at LJ. This is too much fun (and we sorely need some right now).
