First Training Of 2013, More Holiday Snaps & A Very Sad Ending
1 JanSo Long Netherlands
19 JunTrying to watch both the Germany/Denmark and Portugal/Netherlands game was next to impossible on Sunday. Though the pub had both games on multiple screens, our view of Portugal/Netherlands was blocked by a tall couple who couldn’t stop making schmoopy faces at each other and kissing. His wife Sylvie is a breast cancer survivor and her stories about his love and support during her battle are truly beautiful. You are a classy man, Rafa. May you go from strength to strength. UPDATED: As if he wasn’t already awesome enough, Rafa tweeted today (it’s June 16th as I write this) that he and Sylvie renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas. Pictures after the jump!
