It’s Official: Welcome Babett!

Our latest (and I’m late to report it) official signing for CD Tacon / Real Madrid is German defender Babett Peter! The 31-year-old joins us following a five-year stint with high-flying Vfl Wolfsburg where she won three consecutive Bundesliga titles and five consecutive DFB Pokal trophies. Prior to Wolfsburg, Babett played for FFC Frankfurt (winning one DFB Pokal trophy) and FFC Turbine Potsdam (winning five Bundesliga titles, one UWCL title, and one DFB Pokal trophy) respectively. Our latest and unexpected official signing for CD Tacon / Real Madrid is Nigerian defender Osinachi Ohale! The 27-year-old joins us from Sweden where she played for Vaxjo DFF and Vittsjo GIK respectively. Prior to this she was part of the Rivers Angels club in Nigeria’ Women Premier League and the NWSL’s Houston Dash. Continue reading

It’s Official: Welcome Ana!

Add another one to the team roster and say hola to 21-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Ana Vallés! She joins us from Rayo Vallecano where she’s played for the past four years. Also, Ana received her first senior cap this past May when Jorge Vilda called her up to for the team’s friendly v Cameroon. Perhaps we have our own Iker in the making?

It’s Official: Welcome Kaci!

Our third official signing for CD Tacon / Real Madrid is French midfielder/defender Kaci Aurelie! She’s making the big trip across Madrid, having won back-to-back Liga Feminina Iberdrola Championship titles with Atlético Madrid the past two seasons.

Prior to her Atletico days, 29-year-old Kaci spent a combined eight seasons with Olympique Lyon tallying up eight Division 1 Féminine championships, four Coupe de France Féminine trophies, and four UEFA Women’s Champions League medals. Whew – that’s quite a haul. Here’s hoping she can do the same for us!

It’s Official: Welcome Thaisa!

Our second official signing for CD Tacon / Real Madrid is none other than 30-year old Brazilian midfielder Thaisa! She scored her first World Cup goal in France, bagging the equalizer for Brazil v France during the Round of 16.

Thaisa seems to like new teams at big clubs, having played for AC Milan last year in their inaugural Serie A season. Prior to this, she played a season for Sky Blue FC in the NWSL, Grindavík in Iceland, and multiple Brazil-based clubs. Looking forward to seeing her on the pitch when the season kicks off in August!

Real Madrid/Cd Tacon made their first professional signing on July 18 and what a stellar signing it is! Asllani didn’t just have a great World Cup this past summer she had an AMAZING one. Obviously the powers that be were watching and consider her to be the perfect centrepiece around which we can start building a team to challenge Atletico and Barcelona in the Primera División.
