Monday Training, Ballon d’Or Noms & Club World Cup

The team got back to work today (and I’m getting back into it too).  The big news was that Toni Kroos rejoined the group.

It’s been quite a weekend! We handily won our match and now sit atop the table. Huzzah!  And Gareth rejoined the group today, which is great news. The 6 outfield players who didn’t start worked out with Gareth while Marcelo & Cris trained on their own. We have a Champions League match against Liverpool on Tuesday.

Armani Made to Measure for Bayern München

Armani announced a clothing partnership with Bayern München last May. And yesterday, Armani released a short behind-the-scenes video of the team photo shoot completed on August 25.

Lots of enjoyable, quick shots. Lewandowski offering a wink. Reina with his aviators. Robben looking nervous. Götze stroking Lahm’s tie. No Xabi though, as this was pre-transfer. The good ol’ days.

The Daily Drool – Epic Bromance Month: Marco Reus & Robert Lewandowski

Here’s a bromance with an expiration date that is fast approaching. Robert is making himself available for the January transfer window and wants away from Dortmund. Poor Marco. I bet he’s starting to get a complex since his other boo, Mario Götze left him for arch rivals Bayern Munich. Robert originally was headed in the same direction but now that’s up in the air.  Marco, it’s not you – it’s them. Trust me when I say that.
