20 Feb

600713_550396551657241_1851544586_nYours truly has been totes slacking on the bits and bobs over the past couple of days. If I don’t get them up daily, they start to be overwhelming. So here’s a bit of a clear out. Our adorable capi posted this shot with his dishtowel scarf outside the Bernabeu. However, the big news is that our beloved Iker’s biological clock has obviously hit Code Red.  Continue reading

BC_w03TCEAAizlkSo yeah, I was going to post something to take our minds of the match, but who am I kidding? I can’t think of anything else and I’m guessing that you can’t either. This poster from @footymemes says it all. Continue reading

While I Was Sleeping…

2 Jun

…y’all were busy! I woke up to a ton of comments. Watishista Mais kindly sent in this video of La Roja on the plane to the US. She got it from Isabella who found it on Twitter (but didn’t send it in to us. Naughty!!!! ;-)) Thanks, Mais, I actually do need to occasionally sleep (it’s rare, but…) so it’s nice to know that people are there are finding and sharing goodies with us. A watish! of the headband to you, young lady! Scandals from this video? Nando sitting with Xabi, (which to be fair, given half a chance I would sit with him too) and Sergio sitting with…Bruno? The Daily Drool: Ruud Van Nistelrooy

21 May

Dutch striker Ruud currently plays for Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga. He has had a long career:  Den Bosch (1993–1997), Heerenveen (1997–1998), PSV Eindhoven (1998–2001), Manchester United (2001–2006) and of course, Real Madrid (2006–2010). He is the second highest scorer in Champions League history (behind Raul).  He loves Madrid passionately and when we had our striker crisis, we tried to get him back (and he was more than willing) but Hamburger wouldn’t release him (Warning: reading this article will break your heart all over again). He has been a member of a Dutch National Team since 1998.
