The Daily Drool: Guram Kashia

Since we don’t publish on September 11th, I thought I’d give you an extra Drool today. Center back Guram joined the San Jose Earthquakes in June and has represented Georgia at the U21 and senior levels. He is currently the captain of the national team. He was the inaugural recipient of the UEFA #EqualGame Award this year. While he was playing at Vitesse last year, he wore a rainbow captain’s armband in support of LGBT rights, which caused a huge controversy in his home country, but he refused to back down. Good on you, sir!

The Daily Drool: Valeri Qazaishvili

Attacking midfielder Valeri currently plays for the San Jose Earthquakes. He has represented Georgia at the U17, U19, U21 and senior levels.

The Daily Drool: Fatai Alashe

Midfielder Fatai currently plays for the San Jose Earthquakes. He has represented the United States at the U23 level.

The Daily Drool – Copa America – Jamaica: Simon Dawkins

Attacking midfielder Simon currently plays for the San Jose Earthquakes. He has represented Jamaica at the senior level.

The Daily Drool: Anibal Godoy

Defensive midfielder Anibal has just made the move from Budapest Honvéd FC to the San Jose Earthquakes. He has represented Panama at the U20, U21 and senior levels.

International Champions Cup North America Schedule Announced

The ICC announced the schedule for the North American matches which will be taking place July 11 – August 5 in 14 stadiums in the US, Canada and Mexico. Full schedule after the jump.

Now, I just need Malaga to put him between the posts sometime so I can see that hair in action again.

MLS: Don’t Cross The Line 2013 PSA

Been meaning to post this for the past couple of weeks. MLS and MLS Works have produced the 2013 PSA for their “Don’t Cross the Line” Campaign which promotes equality and acceptance in the sport.

The Daily Drool – MLS West: Anthony Ampaipitakwong

Texas-born Thai/American midfielder is currently playing with the San Jose Earthquakes. He has appeared for the US U17 team and was called up to the Thailand National Team in November 2011.
