Since we don’t publish on September 11th, I thought I’d give you an extra Drool today. Center back Guram joined the San Jose Earthquakes in June and has represented Georgia at the U21 and senior levels. He is currently the captain of the national team. He was the inaugural recipient of the UEFA #EqualGame Award this year. While he was playing at Vitesse last year, he wore a rainbow captain’s armband in support of LGBT rights, which caused a huge controversy in his home country, but he refused to back down. Good on you, sir!
