Our spot in the next round of the Champions League is secured, so now it’s back to La Liga. Next up is Saturday vs. Éibar.

Our starting line up is Keylor Navas, Pepe, Ramos, Nacho, Benzema, James, Casemiro, Lucas Vázquez, Modric, Asensio and Danilo.

Cristiano will not be playing due to a muscular problem and Gareth is, of course, sitting this one out due to the red card (and he will sit the next one out as well).

In our last match before the international break we took on Eibar at the Bernabeu.

Smiley winger Pere just joined Eibar from Logroñés. We’ll have to keep an eye out for him this coming season!

The Daily Drool: Aleksandar Pantić

Right back Aleksandar currently plays for Eibar on loan from Villareal. He has represented Serbia at the U19 and U21 levels.

The team had their last training session before meeting Eibar tomorrow.

A Conflict Of Interest

Man, I am so behind. The first half is over and I’m just getting to yesterday’s events. In my defense, mygypsyspirit was visiting and we had the world’s longest brunch – about 9 hours! Anyhow, I have to do something to keep my mind off how lackluster our play is right now. Hence, a post.

Prepping For Eibar

I hope all the American watishista/os had a lovely Thanksgiving. I spent the day cooking for the two dinners I went to and then eating approximately my body weight in delicious food. Needless to say, there was no activity today because I felt like a beached whale. The team, however, was working their fine arses off to prepare for Sunday’s match vs. Eibar.
