The Daily Drool: Adrián Calello

adrian calelloOkay, let’s try this again. After finding multiple copies of a picture of Luis Ibáñez mislabeled as Adrián Calello, I had to correct Tuesday’s Drool. This time we’ve got the right guy though! It’s straight from a calendar! His name is on it!  Argentine Adrián joined Siena on January 31, 2013 from Dinamo Zagreb where he played with, you guessed it, Luis Ibáñez.

Well, seeing as the transfer market is open until August 31st, I think I’ll continue with my transferring Drools. Defender Massimo played from 2006-2011 for Parma in Serie A before moving last season to Serie B side Novara. He’s going back to Serie A this year and playing for Siena.

Midfielder Gaetano currently plays for Siena in Serie A. He has represented Italy at the U15, U16, U18, U21 and senior levels beginning in 1997.

The Daily Drool: Abdoulay Konko

Super cute Abdoulay just signed a 4 year contract with Lazio in Serie A. Since 2004, he’s played with Juventus, Crotone (loan), Siena, Genoa, Sevilla and now, Lazio. Just a little update: gorgeous Abdoulay is French born of Senegalese and Moroccan descent. He got the best of all three countries, didn’t he? Yum. Look at that gorgeous man. Now imagine him with a French accent. ::thud::
