New Year & Holiday Fun

Hope everyone had a lovely New Year’s Eve and have been enjoying the day today. As promised, a bumper crop of what various ‘ballers have been doing on their holidays. There have been engagements, baby announcements, singing in the mirror while dressed in a towel (Cristiano), blue gradient shoes (Sergio), celebrating on a camel (Mateo & Lukita) and a rather ungracious joke about a rival (Toni Kroos, being a bit rude, IMHO).  Let’s dig in! (It’s long so be prepared!)

Our fine gentlemen have the day off so I thought I’d catch up with the luscious Mr. Beckham who is now the face of Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whiskey. Me? I can’t stand that particular tipple. Shigs thinks this is a massive failing on my part. She’s probably right BUT considering how many things I do drink, it’s  probably best if I have a few that I don’t.

The glorious Mr. Beckham, not content just to model for Belstaff, has launched his own capsule collection for the luxury menswear brand.

He was in NYC for a book signing event at the Belstaff store.

Karim Gets A Captive Audience, Mesut Speaks, Bits & Bobs

We were today gifted with 10 minutes of translated presser (translation kicks in at about 30 seconds or so). I particularly enjoy how annoyed Karim gets with the headphones in the beginning. I know they’re not Beats, hon, but try to cope. Especially when you have a whole room of people hanging on your every utterance, Mr. Forever Alone.

Harper. Seven. With. Minnie. Mouse. Ears. This girl is just too squishy & yummy!! And look at those cheeks, that double chin, and her chunky arms!! Babies like that were meant to be bitten y’all. I’d say her daddy has quite a bite-able quality to him too, wouldn’t you agree? Check out the whole fam at Disneyland.
