Hey, Barca drew this weekend, of course we should join the one point party, too. I kid, I kid, that’s total bull, mofos know I like my points to come in threes. Ugh. Let’s take a La Liga rewind & catch up on the Zaragoza match, since I’m just now getting around to putting it together! The match was our 6th straight home win & our newbies, Essien & Modric, both scored their first goals with the club. Look at us with big scoring matches, maintaining clean sheets, & maintaining our awesomeness. I like it, I love it, I want some more of it!

We’re Movin’ On Up!

That’s another three points for us with yesterday’s win and we’re now in third place on the La Liga table. Before we tackle Barca for the first spot, we’ve got to catch up with Atletico, who have a 5 point lead on us, but we’re moving in the right direction with our winning streak! Mou says the team is in good shape & the boys feel the same way.

Winger Angel plays for Real Zaragoza and scored against us on Saturday. Grrrrr! As I said to Shiggers, his last name makes him sound like a lady pirate. So….now we call him Lady Pirate. Poor guy – he’s so cute and now I’ve got that stuck in my head. Ah well, enjoy the pretty!

Gearing Up For Zaragoza

I’m a little late and behind with the updates from yesterday/this morning. Shiggers and I had a long overdue “just the two of us girls night out dinner” and I’m, um, ‘preparing for tomorrow’s game.’ As you do. The boys left the Mirasierra Suites and headed on to Valdebebas for a bit of light stretching. A few things I’ve noticed: Albiol’s hair still hasn’t been cut, the Arbeloa freeze out continues and Iker Casillas has some seriously skinny pale legs. Granted, nothing we didn’t already know but…
