The Daily Drool: David Trezeguet

9 May

Handsome French-Argentine striker David currently plays for the about to be relegated Hercules in La Liga.  However, he has had a long and varied career. He began his senior career with Argentine side Platense in 1993, moving on to Ligue 1’s Monaco in 1995 and staying 5 years. His longest stretch was with Juventus where he played from 2000-2010. He made 245 appearances and scored 138 goals. He is the highest scoring non-Italian player in Juventus’s history. His international experience began in 1997 with France’s U21 team. He moved up to the senior team in 1998 and remained a member until 2008. In 71 appearances, he scored 34 goals. (I believe this Drool is for you, wa-tishista! Suzanne!)
