Oof! That game yesterday! I felt sorry for my poor neighbors. They must have been wondering what the hell was going on with all the shrieking coming from my flat. I’m sure they’ll get used to it, what with the matches that are coming up this month.

New Year & Holiday Fun

Hope everyone had a lovely New Year’s Eve and have been enjoying the day today. As promised, a bumper crop of what various ‘ballers have been doing on their holidays. There have been engagements, baby announcements, singing in the mirror while dressed in a towel (Cristiano), blue gradient shoes (Sergio), celebrating on a camel (Mateo & Lukita) and a rather ungracious joke about a rival (Toni Kroos, being a bit rude, IMHO).  Let’s dig in! (It’s long so be prepared!)

Thursday Pre-ClasicoTraining

It’s almost time for El Clasico! And Sese is looking rather peppy. I love the balls hovering above his head, on his back foot and by his knee and how he is in midair.
