The Daily Drool – Serie A – Juventus: Elia Petrelli

I try not to repeat Drools and I find myself in the weird position of having previously used the entire Juventus senior team already. Since Juventus means “youth” anyhow, I thought I would grab someone from their youth team.  Forward Elia joined the U23 side in 2018. He has represented Italy at the U16, U18 and U19 levels.

The Daily Drool – Champions League Group D – Juventus: Miralem Pjanić

Midfielder Miralem joined Juventus in 2016. He has represented Luxembourg at the U17 and U19 levels and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the senior level.

The Daily Drool: Merih Demiral

Center back Merih joined Juventus just this month. He has represented Turkey at the U17, U18, U19, U20, U21 and senior levels.

The Daily Drool – Champions League Group H – Juventus: Leonardo Spinazzola

Left midfielder/wing back Leonardo just returned this summer to Juve after a 2 year loan stint at Atalanta. He has represented Italy at the U19, U20 and senior levels.

The Week So Far…

I make a whole big statement about starting to post again and then promptly get felled by an epic bronchial infection that has had me flat on my ass all week. Typical.  Anyhow, I’m slowly starting to come out of it now so I’m going to try again! There’s the bulk of a week to catch up on so I’ll do a drive by.

Ready To Meet Juve At Home

Champions League certainly got exciting today, didn’t it? Barca and Man City out, Liverpool and Roma in. And tomorrow, it’s out turn to meet Juve at home and hopefully secure our place in the next round.

While the Derbi may not have turned out as we wished, a draw is better the a loss. We don’t have time to dwell on it because we have the Champions League second leg vs. Juventus on Wednesday.
