Now, I grew up supporting Italy and they are always in my heart. Gigi Buffon is one man who has always made me weak at the knees. I mean, look at him. Yum. Anyhow, it’s been a long time since Italy got any love on this blog so here’s a bit of mama mia! hotness.

ITALY!!!!!! I’m so happy to see them on here! Gigi with Chiello, Barz and Bonucci (oh look, it’s JuveItalia) are, arguably, the best defensive backline in Europe. Spain vs Italy is going to KILL me.
I would look like Gigi too if I had to go through a press conference after the latest match fixing scandal in Italian football became big news and had police busting in on the training camp. Sheesh, what a mess! Wishing the Azzurri the best and hopefully they respond as well as they did in WC 2006 (but not too well mind you, Spain supporter here!)

Looking at the two group shots, I can envision the boys being Clark Kent-like, stepping into a phone booth in the suit and stepping back out in the team kit! (cue the super hero music).
*starts devising evil plan to get the Kent look-a-likes to forget the kit underneath their suits, forcing them so step out of the phone booth suit-less and kit-less* 😉

First I saw Gigi 4 years ago in Euro 2008 and I have been in love with him ever since. Apart from the fact that he’s the sweetest guy in football and he has those gorgeous eyes <3<3, he is also the best goalkeeper in the world! You have great taste, cheers!
