Iker is set to have his third annual Partido x la ilusión charity match/concert in Madrid on December 23rd. Mesut and Alvaro helped him out with the promotion by posing with/in the shirt.

“What we want is that on 23rd at 18:00 pm the maximum number of people possible come and fill the Palacio de los Deportes”, added the Madrid captain.
On 23rd December the III edition of the ‘Partido x la ilusión’, organized by Iker Casillas. The Real Madrid captain appeared very excited about the event, which will be launched on Friday at the Santiago Bernabéu and for which the tickets will only cost six euros. “I am very happy and content to be part of this event for the third year running. It takes place on Sunday 23rd December at 18:00 pm at the Palacio de los Deportes. It will begin with musical performances by various artists which have provided their services free of charge, and at 19:00 there will be a short football match in which every player will try and do what they can to give the public a great time watching their idols who are not from the world of football in a different and entertaining setting. The tickets can be purchased through entradas.com, and on the day of the match they will be on sale at the ticket office.
Tony Aguilar will be master of ceremonies.
This will be the third year of this interesting project of which the white team’s goalkeeper is very proud: “I am very happy and content to be part of this event for the third year running. It is a very positive initiative and both the people around me and myself look forward to it with the intention of repeating the success of previous years. It is at the Palacio de los Deportes, like last year, which was bursting and in which people had a great time with personalities from the world of sport and television. I am happy and what we are looking for is to improve on what we did last year”.
To attend the event those who wish to can get tickets through entradas.com and on the day of the match there will be a ticket office open at the Palacio de los Deportes at a reduced price. “The situation we are living is not what anybody wanted. In my case I can give something back of all that society has given me, which to me has been a lot. The tickets are priced at six euros, which is symbolic, and what we want is that the maximum number of people possible come to the event and fill the Palacio de los Deportes. It is directed above all towards parents wanting to take the children and have a good time, and all the money we take will go towards creating employment”.
There will be a lot of well-known faces who will once more be with Iker Casillas on 23rd December to support this worthy cause. “We have found a lot of celebrities. One of those who will be there is Fernando Hierro, a great friend of mine and one who always comes willingly and asks for nothing in return, and likewise Emilio Butragueño, director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, who is always available for a good cause. Santiago Segura will also be there, who’s another phenomenon, and as the days go by more names will be confirmed so that everyone gets one surprise or another in the Palacio de los Deportes”.
It is a much loved event, both for the participants and for those who come to see it, and for which Casillas has asked for the support of the press in order to publicise it further: “The presentation of the event will be in the Santiago Bernabéu on Monday 14th December. At 13:00 pm the ‘Partido x la ilusión’ will be presented from the Honorary Box in the stadium. And I would like to ask all the press present to publicise the event so that it reaches every corner, and the public are aware of the event and can go”.
Finally Iker sent a message to all fans to come and fill the Palacio de los Deportes on 23rd December. “I am convinced that we are going to fill it and that the public are going to have a great time, I believe demand will be high. The public are going to have a super time laughing, and above all the youngest during this festive period. The objective is that we all help using football and music as the excuse, and that we all add our grain of sand, in this case six euros, to help people who really need it”.
