Training, They Broke Luka & Remembering One Of The Greatest

17 Nov

Satellite (4)I was off on a road trip yesterday and got back into town at about 3 AM so I’m just getting to blog updates now. After a few days off, the team returned to training. The first of the internationals to come back, Keylor, joined them.

Arbeloa played a bit of badminton with Nacho (supervised by Dani) after training.

Some bad news though…Luka got broken. He has a “a tear of the left proximal rectus femoris tendon” and reports are projecting that he might be out 2-3 months. ARGH! No word from the powers that be confirming or denying that yet though. Animo Lukita! Arbeloa was quick to send him get well wishes, posting this compilation shot.

On a happier note, Isco and Morata bromanced it up like nobody’s business on international duty. Both Calleti & King Muppet Baby made their senior national team debuts and Isco scored a stunner in La Roja’s victory over Belarus. Love these boys! And some of the old guard were mingling too. Good to see Chori & Churu hanging and Sese & Iker spending time with Morata. (La Roja shots via player social media & GF Sports)

    Luka NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

On the bright side, I am SO proud of Isco. He played wonderfully for Spain, and that goal was a thing of beauty.
