Updated: Real Madrid Exclusive Training in LA

5 Jul

Real Madrid is doing an exclusive closed training at 10:00 AM on August 4th in LA. Looking at the sponsors, I’m guessing the money goes to charity, but seriously, holy crap – check out these prices…General admission is $85 (plus ticket fees, undoubtedly) and the VIP hospitality package is $382.50! The latter “includes include a private entrance, continental breakfast, covered seating, and meet and greet and photo opportunity with Real Madrid players including Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos. Other Real Madrid players TBA.” I love the disclaimer about the training: “Watch Ronaldo, Ramos, Pepe, Casillas, Benzema, Kaka, Xabi Alonso, the rest of the team and coach Jose Mourinho live. (please note: all players and coach are expected to participate, but are not guaranteed).”  If anyone goes, I’d love to hear about it and we’d be happy to post your pictures, but since I’m in NYC, I won’t be attending unless someone dumps a bag of money or some free tickets on me.

What do y’all think about this? I mean, if you have the scratch, you can meet your fave players (if they show up) or at the very least watch them run around and sweat.

Updated: Because I’m a moron who forgot to put a link to the ticket page! Argh. Thanks to watishista Letty for bringing that to my attention!

way too much! i get it’s for charity(most likely), but just cause we live in LA doesn’t mean we’re all made of money lol seriously though, last year we got to watch them train for free and get pics/autographs (also for free) im going to the game though

I’m not even 100% sure it’s for charity, but I’m guessing from all the sponsor logos. But even so, that’s steep. Brazil vs. Argentina had a training here in NY and the tickets were $20-$50 and that was for charity.

oh okay and I wouldn’t mind paying that $20-$50, that sounds a lot more reasonable to me.

Okay I have seriously been saving up all year for the game and possibly training sessions but I can’t find who is selling the tickets for the Training Session (official sponsor). Help me out, cause I will pay for a meet & greet any day that has SR in it! OMG I need VIP tickets now! Lol Did i mention I will share my pics if i get to go!

Omg I can actually go to this! I would’ve thought they would be in Vegas by then though.

I keep waiting to see if Galaxy season ticket holders will have a discount (like we do for the Tottenham training session). Other than that, I am seriously considering selling non-essential organs for a chance to get up close!
