Yes, we won a trophy last night but it’s clearly not the time to talk about that or celebrate. Right now, all our thoughts are on the tragedy in Barcelona.
Another senseless loss of life and so many injuries. Our condolences go out to the families and friends of those lost and we’re sending lots of healing energy to those who were injured.
This past week has totally sucked. I’m heartsick, angry and really struggling to make sense of everything. I don’t think there is any way to make sense of it. Just…please be safe and hug your loved ones.
UPDATE: When I posted, I wasn’t aware of what happened in Cambrils. From what I’ve been reading, both attacks are linked and the jihadists were planning a much larger attack but an explosion left them without bomb making materials. I’m glad that there wasn’t a larger attack, but that does nothing to take away from the pain of what happened yesterday. Even one life lost is too many.
