Transfer Deadline Ends Tomorrow Night

30 Aug

So, the big day is finally upon us – the transfer deadline is tomorrow at midnight. I can’t wait until it’s over. However, we’ve got a few players whose fates are still up in the air.  It’s rumored that Gago is going to be off to Roma and Peter Lion back to Getafe.  And what of Lass? I’ve heard possibly Arsenal. Drenthe is rumored to be possibly heading to Galatasaray.  Kaka doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, but it may come right down to the wire. Do you think there will be any last minute surprises and we’ll pick up a striker? Our bench is so damn deep as it is. I’m just looking forward to waking up to La Roja/Sernando pictures tomorrow. Perhaps that can take my mind off the last minute transfer deadline craziness.

be thankful you’re not a gunner fan. between sunday’s tragedy and the mad (necessary) rush to buy players today, i might need a shot of diazepam tomorrow morning

I’m quite sad Per (Mertesacker) is leaving Bremen… But he has dreamt of the PL and Arsenal for so long, I can’t bring myself to be mad. Just wish him, Arsenal and Werder a good season!

man, you must have been GUTTED when ozil left bremen 🙂

honestly, i wish kaka would be smart and move to chelsea already. he should be playing more than he is or he’ll never get back to his best. madrid should focus on their young stars… you play di maria, ozil, benz, sahin, khedira, coentrao (and of course cris) in the same side for another 3 years….can you imagine what its going to be like then? insane!!! kaka shouldnt expect mou to cut down on ozil’s playing time to accomodate him… but thats just my opinion.

It’s official – Peter Lion back to Getafe. Getafe confirmed it in their official website.
